tipo quando você tem soma de frações você tenta achar o MMC (mínimo múltiplo comum) certo? esse múltiplo comum é o 20 que acaba sendo o denominador da fração substituindo o 5 e o 4.

nós pegamos o MMC , no caso o 20, e dividimos primeiro pelo denominador da primeira expressão, no caso temos -1/5, o denominador é o 5 ai dividimos 20 por 5 que acaba dando -4 ai depois pegamos o mesmo MMC no caso o 20 e fazemos a mesma coisa com a segunda expressão,no caso 3/4, ai dividimos o 20 por 4 e multiplicamos por 3 que dá 15. Depois a expressão fica assim -4+15/20.

observe que desconsideramos os denominadores anteriores, ai depois é só somar o -4 com o 15 que da 11. Aí a expressão fica 11/20
