To show the exhibits, a huge stucture of glass and iron was built in Hyde Park: the Crystal Palace. The exhibition lasted 6 months and attracted six million visitors. Visitors could see working steam engines, farm machinery, furniture, musical instruments and exotic products from all around the world. The Koh-i-Noor, the world's biggest diamond, was one of the most appreciated exhibits!

2/ According to me, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert wanted to show how England was developed. Also, they wanted to show that England was a huge colonial empire by exhibiting foreign product from all around the world. To finish, the Koh-I-Nor diamond must have shown the economical power of England.
3/ This elephant was interesting for Victorian people because, it makes them discover a new Kind of animals that doesn't exist in England. It makes them realise that the conquest of the world isn't finish and that are many things that they didn't discover yet.
