My ancestors who lived peacefully were assassinated, their lands plundered as well as their ressources. This is why today we are trying to make ourselves heard

fat8889 2/ So that this never happens again. We are also trying to relay our culture because even though it is really different from Western culture, ours has endured over time for centuries. To exemplifly we have face paintings rites, traditional dances, songs. All these reflect feelings and homages to our ancestors. Our paints and clothes are made naturally from plants, minerals. We also have many (fêtes traditionnelles en anglais) like Pow Wow during which we celebrate our warriors or religion.

fat8889 3/ Our practices are often misunderstood, however they mean a lot to is and were already practiced at the time of our ancestors, long before colonization. To finish I'd like to relay a messqge of peace to everyone and young people. History is past but we musn't forget what hapenned so as not to reproduce past mistakes. The mass assasinations, violences, looting suffered by my ancestors must not be forgotten. Moreover we sould all be open mind and respect others cultures so we'll live in
