C'est indices sont : yesterday, last week, in 1934, a long time ago ....
2.
a. Yesterday, Kit killed a few deer.
b. Trappers always eat the animals they have trapped.
c. The Lewis and Clark expedition met with a lot of difficult weather conditions especially in Montana.
d. It usually snows a lot in Montana in winter.
e. A lot of websites talk about the expedition.
f. Last night I read ( red) a very interesting extract from their journals.
One day a grizzly bear attacked Smith along the Cheyenne River. Smith fought the bear but the animal opened his side with his claws and took Smith’s head into his mouth. Fortunately, the bear suddenly retreated and Smith’s companions ran to help him. They succeeded in saving him.
