Some people say the fashion industry has a bad effect on people's lives. Do you agree ? Indeed, I think they are easily influenced and sensitive on others' expression. First, I don't think appearance has a real importance. Today, the clothe is an expression of identity and a social revelation. I disagree with it, because I don't think trend is necessary to make friends or to frequent a certain social category. Moreover, the prices of clothes are often very expensive, so some people can't buy themselves clothes which are as good quality as they would like. That's why, a big gaps opens up between some social categories, and more frequently between students. Finally, some people are victim of advertisements, because they are manipulated and pushed to buy. Today the advertisement is everywhere and use consumer's feelings, just like humour and tenderness in order to raise awareness among him. I find it shameful to use peoples' feelings only to sell lipsticks or handbags. To conclude, I think fashion industry rejected a certain social category and take advantage of consumer's feeling in order to sell their produces.
