frhdpl The Little Panda, Red Panda or Panda Bright (Ailurus fulgens), is a mammal of the family Ailuridae. It has an omnivorous, essentially vegetarian diet, although belonging to the Carnivorous order as raccoons or bears with which it has sometimes been classified with the giant Panda. The red panda is native to the Himalayas and southern China. It is a protected species because it is in danger of disappearing.

frhdpl The small panda is the size of a fox: the body without the tail measures from 50 to 65 cm, the tail is from 30 to 60 cm. Males weigh 3.5 to 6.2 kg and females 3 to 6 kg9.10.
