Bonjour,
The young Elizabeth portrait was painted in 1546 by William Scotes.
13-year-old Elizabeth is dressed in a red and gold gown ( robe )with lots of jewels ( bijoux ), such as rings (bagues ) and a necklace. ( collier )
The colours of her crown ( couronne ) show that she is member of royalty.
We can see books, which proved she was educated.
We could say that Elizabeth symbolised dignity here.
