Bonjour, on a corrigé un exercice (du second degré) en classe où on devait compléter les égalités (remplir les pointillés). 5x^2+12x-17 = 5[(x+...)^2-...]
La correction nous donne :
5x^2+12x-17 = 5[(x+\frac{6}{5})^2-\frac{121}{25}]
Je comprends comment on obtient \frac{6}{5}. (\frac{6}{5} = 12÷2÷5) Mais je ne comprends pas comment on obtient \frac{121}{25}, si quelqu'un veut bien m'expliquer ça serait gentil.
Un exemple plus facile :
x^2+8x+7 = (x+...)^2-...
La correction nous donne :
x^2+8x+7 = (x+4)^2-9
