Bonjour , sil vous plait traduire ce texte en français . The disaster film flood was released on August 24th 2007, just after the flooding in the south of england . It is based on a novel which was written by Richard Doyle in 2003. It describes how london could be affected by a raging storm and heavy seas . The life of millions of londoners are endangered by torrents of water. In the movie a meteorologist and his son are caught up in the spring tides and separated by the storm as they meet on the thames Barrier. While the father is brought to the secret government headquarters his son and ex-wife are journeying upstream towards Central London . They meet casualties on their way and try to help . But many people are drowned in the waters or killed by the storm. Refugees are sheltered in Greenwich Park and others try to flee the city . London is flooded ; the main monuments such as the Houses of Parliament or St Paul's cathedral are under water . Will father and son be able to save Kensington and Battersea near london ? Will they be destroyed along with the rest of south England ? And could this catastrophe really happen in london ? According to Mr Doyle , the question is not if it could happenbut when it will happen . He believes the Thames Barrier should be replaced by a larger barrier south of london . The Environment Agency disagrees and insists the idea makes a good film but it is not science.
