did not = preterit de did - forme négative
donc on va mettre know au preterit
=> John knew his nation...
(to know est irrégulier..)
2-The Européens did't settle in South Africa.
idem => settle au preterit
=> the Europeans settled in SA..
3- Did Nelson Mandela manage to unit thé country ?
