The Hate U Give is a dramatic american film directed by George Tillman Jr.
Starr Carter, a black girl who lives in a poor neighborhood populated only by black people and studies in a high school attended only by rich whites people.
One day, while she is in her best friend's car, she attends the death of her best friend caused by a white policeman. Since that event, Starr has been fighting for justice for his friend and against the injustices done to blacks.
The main characters are Starr Carter, Lisa Carter, Uncle Carlos Carter, Hailey and Chris.
