V/
1) Africans were brought to America by slave traders in 1619.
2) Slaves were forced to work by plantation owners from sunrise to sunset.
3) Slaves could be beaten or whipped by an overseer for many reasons.
4) Black and colored people were rejected by the white population.
5) It is hoped that racism will no longer exist one day.
