On voit que
f(x) = (x+1)²-4 est de la forme a²-b² avec ici "a" = x+1 et "b" = 4.
On sait que l'identité remarquable a²-b² = (a+b)(a-b). On peut alors poser :
f(x) = (x+1)²-4
f(x) = ((x+1)+2)((x+1)-2)
f(x) = (x+3)(x-1)
