Mrs. Red had always been a talentuous woman, wether it be art, music, academics... She had full control over her life. She was smart. She had charisma. She had charm. It was no surprise that she attracted a lot of attention from men... But, she didn't need it. In fact, she had already found the love of her life. People, strangers even, would envy her - in a month, she would be married to a self-made millionaire, have a beautiful baby girl, and live her dreams.
Christmas was approaching. Her fiancé was on a business trip to France, and should be back on Christmas Eve. Only, he had forgotten his work cellphone at home. So he wouldn't get anxious, Mrs. Red decided to send him a text... using his work cellphone (as it was the nearest). Imagine her surprise when she found... more-than-suspicious looking texts from another woman, whose name sounded, again, suspiciously French. It wasn't long before Christmas Eve came. Smiles, "Welcome home!"s, kisses, a mouth-watering meal... the usual. Soon, it was time to open presents. "Oh, wait, honey, I forgot this one in my room." She smiled. Shortly after, she came down the stairs... and shot him dead. If there was something Mrs. Red couldn't control in her life, it was jealousy.
La scène de crime...
The fireplace was lit. In the middle of the room, near the Christmas tree, lies the corpse of a white man, about 30 years of age. Tests reveal he must have died about 6 hours ago, but we are not positive yet. No wounds except for the impact of a bullet on his heart. The killer must be exceptionally skilled with guns. Blood stains on the wall, rug and floor were observed. The Christmas presents don't seem to have been opened, except for four books. Closer inspection revealed nothing unusual about their contents. Fingerprints were spotted on stair railings, DNA is currently under test at the laboratory. Report by Officer McJenkins
