It was during the vacations. I was with my cousin in my grandmother's house who had gone to see her friend in the evening. So we were alone at her house. Her house was like all grandmothers' houses, with a room dedicated to scary dolls, old tapestry walls and a musty smell. My cousin and I decided to watch a horror movie while eating pizza. Around midnight, we heard a noise. But we didn't worry because the neighbor's cat often came to see my grandmother. Half an hour later, my cousin got up to go to the bathroom. Suddenly, I heard a howl. It was my cousin. Scared, I got up and ran to him. The hallway was dark but there was light coming from the room full of dolls. With trembling hands, I pushed open the door and that's when I saw him. His body was on the floor, with several stab wounds. Next to him, a doll had fallen and was dipping in my cousin's blood.
It was a dark and stormy night in the small town of Millfield. Emma, a young college student, had to walk home alone after her evening class. She walked hurriedly, her eyes fixed on the ground, trying to avoid the raindrops. Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her, but when she turned around, nobody was there. Her heart began to race, and she picked up her pace. She then heard the footsteps again, but this time they were closer. She started to run.
As she reached her house, she fumbled with her keys, trying to open the door. She finally managed to get inside and locked the door. She let out a sigh of relief but then heard a knock on the door. She cautiously peered through the peephole, and to her horror, she saw a figure wearing a raincoat and a hood.
Trembling with fear, she shouted, "Who's there?" but there was no answer. She called the police, and while waiting for them to arrive, she heard strange noises coming from the attic. She went upstairs to investigate, and as she opened the door, she was greeted by a figure standing in the dark.
The police arrived just in time to save her from the intruder. It turned out that the person stalking her was an escaped convict who had been on the run. Emma never forgot that terrifying night and was grateful for the safety of her home.
