Alphonse Gabriel Capone was born in the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York in an Italian family with no history. He has italian origins.
His gangster reputation is well spoofed. Teenager, he attended several bands that form him to the banditry. He will keep a scar on the cheek that will give him the legendary nickname "Scarface". On his arrival in Chicago, he has already committed two crimes. It's this city, he met a boss of the underworld, Johnny Torrio. Quickly, Al Capone gained his confidence and became his right arm. He takes, in 1925, his estate and became a symbol of corruption. During these years, he amassed considerable sums of money by illegal activity: resale of alcohol and drugs, the opening of speakeasies bars, brothels and gambling halls. The elimination of the majority of its competitors during confrontations - the most famous being the massacre of Valentine - gives him considerable power enabling it to control all of the underworld of Chicago. In 1931, his conviction for tax evasion ended his career in banditry. He was released nine years later for good behavior. He retired to his home in Miami, where he died following a long illness.
