Why were the 1920s called “Roaring Twenties” [FR: les années 20 rugissantes]?


a) Because people were
having a lot of fun and parties (and it made a lot of noise)

b) Because of the noise of the cars Henry Ford popularized.

c) Because people were angry at the Prohibition of alcohol.

d) Because people were angry about poverty and economic hardship.
