Stonehenge is a prehistorical British monument. It is situated in England, Wiltshire. it was built between 3000 BC and 2000 BC. Celtic Druids built it, as a prehistoric cemetery to bury dead people. A henge is a large prehistoric earthwork which could be made of wood stones or earth. Stonehenge therefore means that it's a Stone Henge.
