Dear mister Stevenson, How are you this week? I hope that you feel better and that you will leave the hospital very soon. I went to the movie last week-end and watched the best thriller movie I’ve seen ever. It was « The name of the rose » and I really appreciated the medieval frame of the story. A monastery has to face several unspeakable deaths under mysterious circonstances. A monk ( Sean Connery ) who just arrived earlier in order to attend a lecture, finally becomes investigator and leads inquiries about the mysterious deaths. His power of logic and deduction bring the final solution. I won’t tell you more just in case you want to see it… This movie was inspired by a very known novel of Umberto Eco. I think I will read it as soon as the Christmas vacation will start. We all expect your return to school in January and in the mean time, I am looking forward to hearing from you again. Your faithfull student,
