lydia is always quarreling with her elder brother who hurts her both physically and morally. However, her parents don't take their fights seriously. Therefore, she decides to write a letter to teens' magazine in order to ask for advice. You are Lydia. Hello everyone,

My name is Lydia and I am 14 years old.

I am writing this letter because I have family problems and I would like to get rid of them once and for all.

Actually, I have a brother but we don't get along at all. Indeed, he hurts me both physically and morally. The last time we argued, he told how much I was ugly and stupid. I told him to stop saying that but he kept insulting me. I try to ignore him but it's very diffucult knowing that he makes me loose my self-confidence. Sometimes, he even hits me and I have a lot of injuries. When I try to talk about it with my parents, they don't take it seriously and tell me to just be understanding with each other.

Every time I go to school I want to stay there because staying at home is horrible.

I just want us to have a good relationship between siblings.

Therefore, I need some advices.
