Nature's Balance

The earth is our home, our sanctuary,

A place of beauty, of wonder and mystery.

Yet we humans, in our quest for progress,

Have caused our planet so much distress.

We've polluted our air, our water, our land,

Destroyed habitats, wiped out species by the grand.

We've ravaged forests, poisoned the sea,

All in the name of our own prosperity.

But nature has a way of balancing the scales,

As she fights back against our wasteful tales.

The weather grows wild, the storms grow fierce,

As our actions trigger nature's revengeful pierce.

We must heed the warnings, change our ways,

And restore the balance before it's too late.

Recycle, conserve, reduce our waste,

And give the earth the respect it deserves, with haste.

For nature is our teacher, our guide,

And we must learn to live in harmony beside.

So let us protect, cherish, and defend,

This precious planet we call our friend.
