You interview is more or less good. I wish to mention some points, where you could make some modifications. =============================== I've found your address on the Internet. I've heard OF your adventure. I'ld like TO WRITE AN article ON it. Could you answer some questions, PLEASE?
You are blind, IS THAT right?
Really? Could you tell me WHAT HAPPENED.
I have become fully blind.... pupils (perhaps not retina, because retina is at the inside of the eye. Pupils are exposed to outside) were damaged, or were removed due to the wound.
I reachED the South pole.
I finished with my questions. Thanks again for answering them.

C'est très bien mais il y a quelques truc qu'on ne dirait pas dans l'anglais courant:
I am sorry TO disturb you; Yes, I have REACHED the south pole; I do A lot of meeting; I asked all my questions, thank you for answering them; Et j'ai l'impression que cette interview est assez formelle, donc le "bye bye" de la fin pourrait être remplacé par un "have a nice day"
