Nowadays, teenagers are highly addicted to social media. Everyday, they live in this "second world", the virtual world of social media, which actually has become, for some people, their first world. It’s a world where people strive to project a perfect image of themselves, photoshopping, using filters, etc… So in the end, it is quite fake.
In this world, things are constantly happening, people like and comment all the time. It’s also a source of stress for those teenagers who are obsessed with likes, comments, shares and the fear of missing out. They can’t help checking their phone and waste a lot of time on it, even though some are aware of it. They are kind of swallowed by social media.
