I was so excited when I took the plane for New York city at heathrow airport with my parents. Since I was eight, I dreamt to visit the Statue of Liberty, Time Square, the Empire State Building. I could not believe it really! It took six hours and half to fly from London to New York.
When we arrived at Kennedy Airport, we took a taxi to our hotel in Time Square named Novotel. It was not so far from the famous fifth Avenue. The first day, my parents took me out for diner. We ate at an italian's restaurant and its pastas were so délicious. By night we had a walk on the enlightening city. That's true that New York is the city which never sleep, all day long, all night long streets are so crowded! First night, it was hard to sleep at the hotel the view was so amazing. It was much more beautiful that I was thinking! The second day, my parents and I took the shuttle to go to Ellis Island to climb on the top of The Statue of Liberty. On the shuttle I was admiring Manhattan and this fabulous view. A guy was explaying us how the emigrants arrived there at Ellis Island and the fact that the Statue was a gift offered by the french in 1846. I climbed until the top at the windows crown it was awesome, really. I took so much selfies. It was a dream comes true! Each morning, I took a delicious breakfast one could find its own food there was some porridge, marmelade, scones also. At my hotel, I've met a nice french boy named Kevin I used to take my breakfast with him and he made me taste a french croissant it is not as good as our scones! Whatsoever, all was great! I also went one afternoon at Time Square by foot , it was closed to our hotel and we have made a picnic there. Believe me, even if I only spend one week there that was my favorite holidays for sure! I adored when my parents took me to Macy's to do shopping. There was ten floors we don't have that in London! I was exhausted at the end of the day! My parents told me that if I have good marks they will bring me back there.
