Mawyela In my opinion, selfies are on the rise. We are living in a period where self-estime is declining, people, moslty the teenagers, are living a period where their bodies are radically changing, and their exposition to the social medias aren't helping them. So they try to convince their self that they are still beautiful, the way they are by taking a bunch of pictures if theirself that they share (or not) on their own social medias.
