The subject of smoking often sparks a lot of controversy. People that don't know a lot about smoking and the effects of it often come across as ignorant about the subject. To write a strong, informative essay about smoking, you'll need to brainstorm what exactly it is about smoking that you want to talk about. Writing clear, strong and factual sentences is key to creating a well-written essay on smoking or any other topic

Selon moi, partir de la définition officielle de la santé donnée par l'O.N.U est un bon point de départ. Tu commencer ainsi :
If we refer to the official definition of the W.H.O (World Health Organization) , health is a ''state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity'' . To be in bad health can be therefore due to a mental disorder, social or physical disorder.
(Partie 2).
I/ health problems in the Third World countries The health problems there are directly related to poverty.
a) the lack of food:some people cannot feed themselves properly. They suffer from nutritional deficiency as the lack of proteins for the children that can cause the Kwashiorkor. b) epidemics : Besides the lack of medicines cannot prevent from stopping diseases c)The lack of running water : the case of Bangladesh where water is contaminated by Arsenic. People are poisonned.
We can't say that people there know psychological illnesses. Life is hard and people toil to stay alive. The adults give birth a lot because they know that some of their offspring won't managed to survive.
transition: In the rich countries, , we don't have these type of problems.
II / Health problems in the rich countries
In the rich countries, people often suffer from illness due to abuses: fat, sugar , and the excess of comfort: we become couch potatoe, glued to the tv set . And we can suffer from obesity, and some excess in behaviour: Ads always display skinny girls, muscular men, just to sell products. This is well explained in some critical movies like in "Supersize me" . These abuses causes physical diseases because we don't move anymore but we eat a lot of rich and dead food.
But a lot of health problems in the rich countries is the psychological and social problems. The social networks create a virtual world in which we have fake friends, fake love , fake sex. The Internet can be a cool and fun tool but some people have problems to see the difference between fake and real world. This inevitably causes social problems and also psychological ones.
This is the same with video games that are more and more violent. In some of them, as in GTA , you can rape girls, kill people and players find that fun.
