5 Seconds Of Summer est un groupe de pop rock australien qui s'est formé à Sydney en 2011, le groupe est composé de Luke Robert Hemmings (chant, guitare), Michael Gordon Clifford (guitare, chant), Calum Thomas Hood (basse, chant) et Ashton Fletcher Irwin (batterie, chant).Ce groupe s'est connaitre en postant des vidéos sur Youtube ayant jusqu'à recevoir 5 millions de vues sur Youtube. Puis,ils se font par de grands labels mai finissent par signés avec Sony.Louis Tomlinson des One Direction s'est poste leur chanson Gotta Get Out en affirmant qu'il était fan puis Niall Horan des One Direction tweet le lien de leur video clip Out of My Limit. Après un passage en 2012 à Londres ils se trouvent à faire la première partie de Take Me Home des One Direction.
