BonjourAuroville (which means city of dawn in French) is located in South east of India in Tamil Nadu State next to Pondicherry which is independent. It's an experimental city created in the middle of nature.It's also named that way after the name of Sri Aurobindo, who acted a lot for India independence,He was a very spiritual man and developed a new way of yoga .
Its green everywhere around, very peaceful and quiet. It's a zen city Some people from different countries were thinking we were moving too much from nature and spirituality. So, they created this city so that everyone could live in harmony between themselves, exploring their spirituality and live in peace.
Everyone in the community has to contribute to the community by working there and they act a lot for progresses in renewable energies and ecological agriculture....and much more thing.And there are no religions...
Je suis désolé....je me suis laissé emporter (heureusement que je me suis arrêté) parce que je suis un fan de l'inde.
Tu remarqueras que j'ai pas utilisé le mot "township"....dans certains endroits conne en Afrique du Sud "township" = un peu bidonville ou les banlieues pauvres où vivent encore les Noirs.
D' autant qu' Auroville a été créé de toutes pièces en 1968.Auparavant, il n'y avait pas d'eau et le Tamil Nadu est un état très sec. Si maintenant c'est vert etc..., c'est que tout a été créé par l'homme
