past simple = pour une action passée terminée.
present perfect : pour une action débutée dans le passé, mais toujours d'actualité au présent.
pour qq chose qui vient juste de se passer
souvent avec les adverbes "already", "just", "not...yet", "ever", "never"

3- I studied German at school,but I have forgotten most of it now.
4- The police arrested three people but later the let them go.
5- What do you think of my English ? Do you think it has improved ?
6- A- Are you still reading the newspaper ?
B- No, I have finished with it. You can have it
7- I applied for a job as a tourist guide, but it wasn't successful.
8- Where is my bike ? It was outside the house but it's not there now.
9- Quick ! We need to call an ambulance. There has been an accident.
10- A- Have you read about Ben ; he broke his arm.
B- Really ! How did that happen?
A- He fell off a ladder.
