In 2016 he attracted media attention when he began to kneel during the national anthem ceremony to protest police killings black men.

CK was violently criticized for not standing [...] but he is deeply commited to continue his protest against police brutality.

He disapproves the way the police behave and is determined to raise people's awareness.

By kneeling he stood up for social justice.

Even the American former president [...] should be fired...for being disrespectful ..

[...] and no other team signed him.He brutally sacrified his career in order to defend what he believes  is right.

However Nike  (...] in a new add campaign to mark the 30th anniversary of its "Just do it" slogan

Nike considers Kaepernick as some of the most inspirational athlete of his generation who has leveraged the power of sport  to help move the world  forward.
