9. Did you see a man in an old jacket on the corner?
10. Were some men repairing the road?
11. Was anyone waiting at the bus stop?
Mr. Smith told me that at 10.05 a.m. yesterday, he was in the street. Joan Turner was at the baker’s. Mrs. Jones was walking with her dog. Mrs. Walkers was going to the baker's or to the butcher's .Three robbers went into the bank and they were carrying guns. A big car was waiting across the street and the driver was a woman. A man in an old jacket was on the corner and some men were repairing the road. Two children were waiting at the bus stop.
Explications :
Exemples:
→ Yesterday, I had breakfast, then I went to school. Later, I went to visit my best friend.
→ Yesterday, I was having breakfast when the phone rang. It was my best friend, she was having trouble with her sister.
