Firstly, i would take a definition of this notion.
The idea of progress can be defined as a improvement, a development or a change. A technical, scientific or social advance which contributes to making the world a better place.

In this developpment, we are going to talk about Modern Technology by identify the advantages and the disadvantages. To illustrate this, I have chosen two documents : (this & this).

Firstly, we can identify advantages. In fact, we can have an easy access to information more particuly for the students, they can use it for learn better. However, we can across the social network, meet new person. Communication has improved with mails, mobiles phones, videoconferencing, etc.. The Modern Technology have leads to the creation of boots. The entertainement as too improved with video games, music, etc… It’s the principal pastime of peoples.
But, a lot of people can’t forget it : it’s the center of their occupation.

Secondly, we can find disavantages. In fact, the creation of boots lead to job loss. The social network can have a negative impact because, the people can be harassed and that can lead to suicide. However, the people can became loneliness because they are always spending time by playing video games and using social network and they neglect their real life. We can see that in this document (doc perso), we can see a sad conversation both the two person who are watching their phones. The negative point of all it’s the security. In fact, our face can be everywhere. We can see in this document how the social network, as facebook, is getting our « life » and our face with the picture who we are sharing.

To conclue, we need to know that all the informations in the web are not always true despite the lot of advantages.
