O vidro é produzido com ingredientes tais como: -70% de areia (retirada de locais como fundo de lagos), 14% de sódio, 14% de cálcio e outros 2% de componentes químicos Esses ingredientes são misturados em seguida indo ao forno com temperaturas de 1.500°C, por algumas horas até virar um meio líquido.
Ao sair do forno, a mistura que dá origem a o vidro, mas não o vidro pronto, mas sim um líquido viscoso e dourado, assemelhado com o mel
O vidro passa por um molde, que serve para dar um contorno inicial do objeto, e o tal mel com a temperatura com 1.200°C
O vidro passa a ir para o molde final e uma espécie de canudo é inserido na bolha
Ao final desse processo a temperatura caiu para os 600°C, o objeto começa a ficar rígido já podendo ser retirado do molde.
