Dear dairy,

My name is Berryl Patmore. I’ m an old woman, strong and noisy, I am a real dragon. I’m small and corpulent with red hair and eyes as blue as the ocean. I’m the long time cook of Downton Abbey. My profession aims prepare to eat for the Crawley Family’s or their guest . But also I runs the kitchen and cooking staff. II can be pretty strict when it comes to work, but has shown a caring and forgiving side at times. I’m a kind hearted and motherly figure to the cooking staff. i luv my coworkers like family !
1st time I write in my diary because today day was very very (VERY !) eventful !!!When i woke up this morning, I Remembered we receive … the king George V and Queen Mary.
Unfortunately the servants of the royal family had come one day to replace those of the Downton Abbey. I didn’t accept to be put aside for this event. I was so sad Because I’ve been a Downton Abbey cook for years and my role is to make my bosses happy. I'm the one who runs the cooking staff (kitchen maid, daire maid and scullery maid ).

So after lunch me and the servants revolted against the servants of the royal family and kicked them out. After the departure of the servants of the royal family. I and cooking staff started to prepare the dinner for this evening. Luckily me and Daisy before ordering food from M. bakewell . this evening’s menu was Cucumber Soup Recipe, salmon mousse, caper cream sauce, rib roast, mint sauce and my famous dundee cakew . so in the kitchen we were overwhelmed because we had to prepare for 12-30person(. The people were king duchess and nobles etc) I spent the whole day running the cooks every one of them had a role. we prepared to cut the vegetables; marinated the meat and cooked; we simmered the sauce etc. it was 5:30 pm the meat was cooking in the oven so. I asked Ivy( kitchen maid) to do the dressing of the dish while the others and I finish the dishes and desserts. After 1hour later we were finally ready. The valets were ready to serve on the other hand mister molesley was much too stressed. So stressed out that he forgets the sauce. I WAS SO EXCITED !!! if they are loved my food. After the dinner molesley conveyed to me the compliments of the royal couple. The reception finished I asked a my scullery maid Daisy to clean up. At night I was so proud of myself and the servants of the downton abbey. I was perfetly happy sleeping after this hard work.
