Passif =A Gouverno General was appointed by the King to rule his dominions

The British parliament gave India her independance after WW2 .

Passif =India was given its independance by the British after WW2.

Each member of the Commonwealth sent congratulations to the Queen on her 90th birthday

Passif = Congratulations to the Queen were sent to each member of the Commonwealth

The Commonwealth asked Zimbabwe to withdraw its membership .

Passif = Zimbabwe was asked by the Commonwealth to withdraw its membership

Explications :

Voix active = Sujet + verbe + COD

Lorsque tu passes de la voix active à la voix passive, le COD de la voix active devient sujet de la voix passive. Le sujet de la voix active devient complément d'agent de la voix passive.

Voix passive = Sujet + BE ( au temps de la voix active ) + participe passé  ( 3ème colonne des verbes irréguliers )+ complément d'agent introduit par "by"

Dans ton exercice toutes les phrases sont au prétérit donc :

Sujet   +  WAS / WERE  +   Participe passé
