I was working for Mr Pepy in Manchester when it happened.
It took place on september 2nd 1662 .
It was three o'clock in the morning and Mr Pepy was sleeping alone in his bedroom.
I was on holiday so I wasn't working that day. I was looking out of the window when suddenly I saw something red in the sky. I didn't react immediately but then I understood.
That's why I decided to phone Mr Pepy. He was so fast asleep that he didn't answer.
