Tu retrouves le plus célèbre détective de la littérature anglaise : Sherlock Holmes. Cependant, Sherlock Holmes va être plongé non pas dans une énigme signée par son créateur Arthur Conan Doyle, mais signée Agatha Christie ! Une énigme que tu connais bien, puisqu’il s’agit de And Then There Were None. Après avoir entendu la fameuse voix accusatrice, tous les invités de l’ile sont choqués. Ils font appel à Sherlock Holmes pour les aider à résoudre cette énigme. Tu vas tour à tour jouer le rôle de Sherlock Holmes (tu poses des questions aux invités) et des invités (tu réponds aux questions en te mettant à la place de chacun des invités). Tu interroges William Blore, Philip Lombard, Vera Claythorne, General Macarthur et Mrs. Rogers. Tu leur demandes ce qu’ils faisaient avant de dîner. Utilise les éléments suivants pour faire (1) les questions et (2) les réponses. He was born in Edinburgh in 1859 and was educated at home until the age of 9. Then he was sent to a religious school and later studied medicine. In 1882, he opened a medical practice in Portsmouth. In 1887 he published A Study in Scarlet, a novel in which his famous character appeared for the first time. The clever English detective soon became popular and his author wrote many more of his adventures in lots of short stories and three novels: The Valley of Fear, The Sign of Four and The Hound of the Baskervilles. He also wrote a series of science fiction stories whose hero was called Professor Challenger. He had an adventurous life: he travelled to the Arctic and he ran a hospital in South Africa. Then he was a war correspondent during the 1st World War. After his wife’s death, he became interested in spiritualism. He died of a heart attack in July 1930. 1.
