Oral bac anglais: Pouvez vous me corriger ma fiche svp ?Spaces and exchangesIntroduction : I am going to present you the notion of spaces and exchanges. In the first place we are going to define the terms of spaces and exchanges. A space refers to the first geographical space, to a place it can be a city, a region, a country, a continent but it can be also a space historical, cultural, economic, political, etc. An exchange is the fact of giving a thing and of receiving other one on the other hand. Nowadays the exchanges can be take different forms for example the human and economic exchanges, of information, cultural, etc. We go to speak about the emigration in particular between Mexico and USA that is a topic that illustrates the notion because they are exchanges between the populations, of different spaces. In the first one we are going to speak conditions and reasons why the migrants cross the border, then the integration and the mixture between the populations and finally the success that the migrants can know.Development: In the first one we can speak difficult conditions which have the migrants to cross the border between Mexico and the USA. In fact illegal Mexicans have to overcome several obstacles as control agents, people not wanting them. Indeed, the US border Patrol controls the 2100 mile US Mexico border and is responsible for the detection and arrest of illegal immigrants. They want to escape from their poor condition. Indeed in the audio document which we studied in class which is a video and is called " Crossing to get to the US " shows us the route(course)(parcours) of the migrants since their departure of Mexico until their arrived in the USA. This documentary shows us the difficult conditions of the trip. The migrants cross the border are on foot, in fear, and equipped with nothing more than the water they can carry. They wants to cross the frontier because they need money and work. They seeking jobs, descent housing, health care and education. In fact there are many reasons for illegal Mexican immigration to the USA, in particular the extreme poverty, high unemployment, little or no healthcare and US firms looking for cheap workforce. When they succeed crossing, they find a job and often they are jobs industry as cook or cleaner. They accepting the jobs that US citizens refuse to do. But then they have papers and to vote. They manage to become integrated in the USA and to become American citizens. So they manage (arriver) to mix with the other citizens and to the society. Indeed the article which is called Spanglish allows us to see the coeducation enters various population. Ilan Stavans, the author of this article tells us his arrived in New York and his discovery of the various ethnic origins of the populations and the various dialects and in particular the Spanglish which is a mix between English and Spanish. But this article shows us the limit of this mixing social because there are consequences social and economic of Spanglish for example. Indeed, “Only 14 percent of Latino students in the country from college”. It shows us that there are inequalities between the Latin American and the other populations Finally we can say that the immigration is not always an obstacle in the success of a man. Sometimes we can see that the migrants can begin a life in the USA without anything and arrive at a success. Indeed in the video of the New York Times dating August 17th, 2014 and which is called From Field to front Office we speak to us about Sergio Silva's success of Hispanic origin. He became a businessman at the head of a flower business. This documentary shows that more and more of Latino American succeed in the business. Of more Sergio Silva give mainly some work to the Latin American. This is a good example of a successful immigration.

Bonjour, j'ai un oral de bac blanc dans pas longtemps et j'aimerais savoir si mon texte est bien ou s'il y a des modifications à apporter svp? Merci d'avance !I am going to present you the notion of location and forms of power. In the first place we are going to define the terms of location and forms of power. Location or places could be important buildings or institutions that represent a certain form of power. Also a state, that could influence another one. Power could be the ability to control others, events, resources, to make things happen despite the obstacles, the resistance, the opposition, ( as gun, lobbies, pro-gun lobbies, gun tyranny, the NRA…). We are going to illustrate the notion of location and forms of power with the story of gun in the USA. So the question is, could America live without guns? Why do we America a gun nation? At first we shall speak about weapons in the center of the American culture and encouraged by lobbying, then we shall see that associations denounce the violence of weapons and finally the danger of weapons is real. First of all, I’m going to show you, that weapons are a part of the American culture. Indeed, in the United States all citizens can possess a weapon as we can see in the 2nd Amendment of the constitution : “As a well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bears arms , shall not be infringed”. Moreover, there are not regulations about the carrying(bearing) weapons. There are also associations which encourage and which are for the carrying of weapons in the USA. Indeed we can see in the document which is called " the NRA: " has very powerful lobby " ". This document describes us this association. The NRA stands for National Rifle Association and it’s a pressure group, lobby. They defend the right to carry guns because they claim guns are everyday life objects. Their modes of actions are the provide gun training they donate a lot of more to political candidates. In addition to sponsoring training programs for gun owners. (a verifier) the NRA opposes gun control legislation. Furthermore, there are many people, and associations which mobilize against the carrying of weapons in the USA. We can see in a document which we studied in class nominated Gun violence, a poster against weapons in the USA. Indeed, we can see in the middle a weapon with the flag of the USA. There are statistics regarding crime rate caused by firearms in various countries. We can see when there was 17 deaths in Finland there was 9484 in the USA because of firearms. It is a prevention campaign in front of the violence of weapons and to discourage the use of gun in the USA. The target audience is the USA. The goal here is to highlight the severity of the matter of crimes for the Americans. This lobbying is in favor of gun control laws and electing pro-gun law official. Finally, the authorization of the carrying of weapons causes real massacres. Indeed, during these last years the slaughters at the school developed. The main objective of these slaughters is to make a genocide. We can take the example of the massacre of April 20th, 1999, to Columbine next to the city of Littleton in the Colorado. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, two students, killed 12 students and a professor, and made numerous wounded persons. They then committed suicide after the shooting. It is the fifth massacre made in a school in the United States. These massacres show the limits of the legalization of the carrying of weapons in the USA. These young people are especially inspired by movies, books(pounds), music or games(sets) which shows the violence. The document Suburbia shows us the influence of the games with weapons on the children. It is a photo of a child named Richie playing with a rifle and an interview of her mother. For her, there is so negative effect of her child playing with a rifle. There is no affection on his development and personality.
