Bonjour j'ai besoin d'aide en anglais merci bien. COMPRÉHENSION It was raining in New York State. I was planning to visit the Niagara Falls, but the cold rain made me change my mind : I just wanted to go back home. I stopped, parked my car on the side of the street and looked at my maps. The windows of my car were closed and the radio was playing softly. Suddenly, a man opened the door and got into my car. “Turn that thing off” he said, and he turned off my radio himself. Then he looked at me. - “You’re lost, aren’t you ? I’ll help you. Now, let’s see: where do you want to go?” - “Well, I wanted to go to the Niagara Falls but...” - “Good. Throw those maps away. I’ll show you the way. - “Yes, but I want to go…” “I know ! Just listen to me, OK? Now, turn around, go two traffic lights, and you’ll come to a big road: that’s Washington Boulevard. Turn left and about two hundred yards from there is a curb. Right after that curb, you’ll come to a small road on your left : go slow or you’ll miss it. Follow that road and you’ll see a bridge on your left. But don’t take that bridge, just go straight on. Pass the baseball field and you’ll see three branching roads. There’s a big red house on the left-hand branch. Don’t take that one, but take the righthand branch. Now, have you got it alright?” What I really I wanted was to get rid of that man and go home. So I said: “Sure, that’s easy!” “Good ! Now repeat what I said, so I’ll know for sure you’re going right...” “ Well... Maybe you better tell me again.” “Yeah ! That’s what I thought... Turn around, go two traffic lights, and … I. Right or wrong? Justify by quoting from the text: The author was in New York City. The man was mad at the author and told him to go away. The man looked at the author’s maps. Washington Boulevard is the other way around. The baseball field is near the red house.
