In my point of view, to be a good chef you have to be creative and you must be open to incorporating new food items into menus as well as to improving older recipes . Also he need to know how to keep the kitchen clean. This is very important in a restaurant, where unsanitary conditions can affect the quality of the food, and can even force a restaurant to shut down. Additionnally, a good chef necessitate to be able to work in a team and to motivate those working with him or her.
