Your task: Group work Maud and Edith, two Suffragettes, have been arrested after organizing a meeting. They've been beaten and arrested by the police, and are about to be sent to prison. A police inspector is questioning them and trying to convince them to stop their movement. Write the dialogue between them.
-Inspector: that was not my question... ANSWER ME!!!
-Edith: We organized this demonstration in order to fight against pollution...
-Inspector: Really?
-Maude: Yes sir! With all due respect, but we are tired of bearing the consequences of this climatic degeneration caused by fucking people who do not care about the lives of the people and who are only after their money....
- Inspector :And you are sure that this is the best way to be able to change things? You at least know that it is a disturbance of public order and punishable by at least 3 years of imprisonment. -
-Maud: We don't care.
-Edith: If this is the price to pay to save lives, we will do it without hesitation.
-Inspector: ok apparently, you don't want to come to your senses, commissioner?! Lock them up for three days to think
