On cherche à résoudre (9x² - 12x +4) = 0 et (x + 3) = 0
Pour (9x² - 12x +4) = 0 :
On reconnaît du second degré, on cherche le discriminant:
Δ = b² - 4ac = -12² - 4*9*4 = -144 - 144 = - 288
-288 < 0 donc pas de racine réelle
Pour (x + 3) = 0 :
x = -3
S = {-3}
2) a) (3 - x)(4x + 1)(3x + 2)
= (12x + 3 - 4x² - x)(3x+2)
= (-4x² + 11x + 3)(3x + 2)
= -12x³ - 8x² + 33x² + 22x + 9x + 6
= -12x³ + 25x² + 31x + 6
b) -12x³ + 25x² + 31x + 6 = (3 - x)(4x + 1)(3x + 2) = 0
si 3 - x = 0; 4x + 1 = 0 ou 3x + 2 = 0
3 - x = 0
x = 3
4x + 1 = 0
4x = -1
x = -1/4 = -0.25
3x + 2 = 0
3x = -2
x = -2/3
S = {-2/3 ; -1/4 ; 3}
