John Fitzgerald Kennedy, often referred to as JFK, was born on May 29th, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts. He came from a wealthy American family of Irish descent, with parents Joe and Rose Kennedy. JFK was the second eldest of nine siblings, including five brothers and four sisters.
