As a Scottish citizen, I believe that the future of Scotland should be in the hands of the Scottish people. The BBC Scotland has long been an important source of news and information for the people of Scotland, and I believe that it has a crucial role to play in informing the public about the issues surrounding the independence referendum.
I would vote YES for independence because I believe that Scotland has the potential to be a thriving, successful nation on its own. We have a rich history, a diverse population, and a wealth of natural resources. With independence, we would have control over our own affairs, including our economy, our education system, and our welfare state. This would allow us to make decisions that are in the best interests of the Scottish people, rather than being subject to the whims of Westminster.
Furthermore, I believe that being an independent nation would allow us to have a more robust and meaningful representation in the international arena. We would be able to forge our own relationships with other countries, rather than having to rely on the UK to speak for us. Additionally, we would be able to take a more active role in shaping the future of Europe, rather than being a passive observer.
