Bonjour tt le monde, j'ai un dm en anglais et j'ai besoin de votre aide et merci d'avance ! You are a teenager You explain what Facebook, Twitter or Myspace is to your grandfather or grandmother who has never heard of it Act out the conversation
For grandparents who have never heard of Facebook, Twitter, or Myspace, those are like UFO (= OVNI) for them. But many of them do know at leat
Well let imagine your grandparents have never or almost never heard of it.
Y = you G = grandparents
Y = Hi, That's a long time I havent talked to you ?? G = Yes, it is. If you could write somme letters to tell us what's going on or maybe just a phone call ....but you never do Y = It's not that I don't want to, but you have to live with your time. Not the time you were used to, but the actual technological time. That would be much more easier. G= But we are too old for this and we don't understand a shit as you , teenagers say (un peu familier, je voulais une point d'humour mais si tu sens que ça va pas passer avec ton/ta prof, mets just "we don't understand any thing of your new technology. We've not been used to it " Y= That's not so difficult. Well they are called "social networks" as Facebook for example... G = (they interrupt) oh Yes that famous Facebook , we've heard about it...they said , in the news, that a thirteen years old kid has commited suicide once more..... Y= Well, it's something you have to be really careful. But at least if you could have at least be connected with Skype, that would be great !!! G = What have you said , Sky... Y = No , it's called S-K-Y-P-E; it allows you or us to have conversations through the computer with the camera. So we will be able to talk together and see each other......Bette than the phone isn'it ? G = That must be very expensive ! Y = Not at all. Don't worry. Next time, I come over, we'll try and you won't be able to live without !!!! Trust me
j'espère que ça correspond à peu près à ce que tu voulais :)
