Bonjour, j'aurais juste voulu savoir si ce que j'ai écris est correct pleaase, c'est un sujet d'argumentation en anglais qui doit répondre à la question: Why has Western fiction has always been popular in USA? Il n'y a pas l'intro et ce n'est pas encore fini. First of all, the western fiction has always been popular in United States of America because it's a genre of movies, books etc... that people could like * first, people like this genre because it can be based on true stories, and people like true stories because it's authentic, it shows the reality and maybe they can represent themselves in the movie. it's the case for the movie called "Wyatt Earp". The movie talk about the life of Wyatt Earp a man who grew up with a family of lawyers. The death of his young wife has shaken his life and later in the movie, we see what's happen in his life and that's why maybe people can represent themselves in the movie: they can lost their wife, husband or whatever who could shake their life. * Then, it's a genre that often represents the conflict between indians and cowboys (originally, the conflict between them comes from the colonization by settlers), indians attacked the stagecoaches and trolleys of the cowboys, that's why cowboys were opposed to the Indians. This conflict is depicted in the movies "Red River" and "The Plainsman". * Sometimes, they put a woman as a main character. We know that in the Western movies, books or whatever, women were not used to embody a main character but it is not the case for the movie "Johnny Guitar" and the book of Charles Portis "True Grit". People can appreciate the fact that a woman be used as main character because we mainly see men to embody it. MERCI DE VOTRE AIDE <3
