a. (en vert) : I bought something. I went somewhere. I met someone. I met somebody.
(en jaune) : I didn't buy anything. I bought nothing. I didn't go anywhere. I went nowhere. I didn't meet anyone. I didn't meet anybody. I met no one. I met nobody.
(encadrer) : Did you buy anything ? Did you go anywhere ? Did you meet anyone ? Did you meet anybody ?
b. (en vert) : I bought some pizza.
(en jaune) : I didn't buy any pizza. I bought no pizza.
(encadrer) : Did you buy any pizza ?
On remarque qu'avec "some" les phrases sont et seront toujours positives. Tandis qu'avec any ou no elle seront tantôt négatives, tantôt interrogative si il y a une inversion sujet-verbe.
