This project will consist in researching and healing about cancer, and will be taking place at Hainan Hospital, in China.
This hospital is likely to be conceived with an original and organized architecture: a superposition of precinct under glass covered canopies, shared in two zones: acute care and rehabilitation zone. The target is to make the community easier for patients, staff, visitors and this, with deck and floor, between different area and services.
Moreover, Hainan Cancer Hospital is to gather the whole specialties for these cares disease: from initial diagnosis, surgery to specific treatment such as chemotherapy including radiation oncology and alternatives medicines. Not only, it will be quite practical for patient who could beneficiate a broad treatment for his cancer in the same place but also he is bound to be among a green atmosphere, integrated in the beautiful landscape.
Indeed, as well as medical interventions, people in the hospital will make the most of adjacent green spaces, local creek to discuss with other patients in courtyards, or just to relax in client interface area between two appointments. Social aspect and togetherness will be certifying but also the mental well-being, the good shape and optimism of sick people should be maintaining and helping the rehabilitation of cancer.
Besides, the building is to welcome natural light, through openable windows with the aim of reducing using of electricity, minimizing artificial lighting to assure an eco-friendly aspect in addition to the development of green spaces.
