I want to die It’s hard to continue ! If I don’t die this battle I do see myself not continue Sandra but I efforts baby, I don’t want you leave. I’m hungry ! I want to eat fucking burger hot with meat and the good sauce. Many of my comrades die, It’s terrible to see. Life in the trenches is not easy but I’m standing. I will take you soon in my arms because the battle is soon ends. You say hello everyone, and I miss them. If I successful this not to worry baby, benefits your life. Sandra, I wrote a letter on October, 21. That was the day we reached the forehead of the war and I lost it(j'ai écrit la lettre le21/10. C'était le jour où on a rejoint le front de la guerre et je l'ai perdue.[ Aucune idée si c'est soldat fraçais ou allemand qui parle, je reste neutre mais c'est pour ça que je déforme un peu !!] ). Right now I am on the river Yser where we had a battle there. I have so many things to tell you, but we have to go to Dunkirk now. I'm so tired, so exhausted that I would sometimes like to die....I'm fed up with all these (je suis si fatigué, si épuisé, que parfois j'aimerais mourir. J'en ai assez (ras le bol) de tout ça). It's so hard ! The only thing that keeps me going is you baby,of course, I don't want to loose you . (la seule chose qui me fait tenir, c'est toi baby, bien sûr. Je ne veux pas te perdre.) I'm so hungry too !! I'm dreaming of a fucking big hamburger with french fries and BBQ sauce !! Many of my companions died..it's an awful thing to live. To live in the trenches is really hard; it's not human but I'll survive . I know this is going to be the end very soon and I'll be able to take you in my arms, finally and for ever.
