4x = 3y
x = 3y/4 (i)
y=21-x (ii)
Substituindo (ii) em (i):
x = 3(21-x)/4
4x = 63-3x
7x = 63
x = 63/7
x = 9
x+y = 21
9+y = 21
y = 12
